Haggerty Creek Ltd. is pleased to announce the official launch of its Precision Ag Service Division.
The precision agriculture market has been growing rapidly over the past 5 years. with advancements and increased uptake in guidance, yield monitoring, planter controls, and crop protection controls.
This market had previously been serviced by Chuck and Justin Baresich, however over the past 3 years due to increased demand it was time to make a change.
While Chuck and Justin are still involved, Haggerty Creek has added Jake Hills to assist in the installation and service of the precision equipment, as well as including Marty Osborne in the sales and administrative requirements.
The first initiative will be to assist in organizing our customer’s precision ag data. A key component of this begins with their yield data, ensuring it is being collected and analyzed.
This has been made possible by Haggerty Creek’s adoption of the Agvance GIS software, integrated with the point of sale system. By linking up the GIS information, customers of Haggerty Creek will be, upon request, provided with a user name and password for My Farm Records, a website portal.
This portal will allow customers to view not only their past invoices and statements, but also crop plans, prescriptions, and as applied data. This data can come from sprayers, planters, fertilizer applicators, combines, etc.
The end goal will be a complete farm map at your disposal. If you wish to share your data with other providers – that is fine too. It is not about exclusivity – it is about getting to know and understand your farm better.
